Description

Gresham, Smith and Partners are a leading multidisciplinary design and consulting firm for the built environment. In 2015, the Jacksonville office announced it was relocating to the One Enterprise Building located at 225 Water Street in the heart of downtown Jacksonville. The design for the new office occupies the entire 10,700 square-foot 22nd floor Penthouse and accommodates GS&P’s more than 40 architectural, interior design and support staff.

The unique challenge of this space is equally its greatest asset – the glass ceiling. This architectural feature alone amplifies the typical complexities associated with creating an inspiring, livable, and productive space. To address the following categories, we sought an integrated design response that embraced and celebrated the exterior without compromising the experience of those within. Construction materials used include carpet with recycled content, both the carpet and LVT flooring finishes were manufactured within 500 miles of the project site. (by Tandus-Centiva)
