36 Years In The Flooring Business

Babs began her flooring career at a young age, working her way up through distribution by learning all she could about sales and operations. And, under the tutelage of her mentor, Arden Kelley, she helped him open CFD’s doors in 2001. Babs is grateful to work with her friends and cherishes the client relationships she has built over the years. She continues to manage the central Florida sales territory, calling on architects, designers, end-users, and flooring contractors. Babs also handles our marketing and brand development and is part of the CFD management team.

When she’s not at work, she enjoys being with her family the most – at home, in the kitchen cooking, listening to music and laughing. She has a special place in her heart for animals, especially black rescue dogs. She also loves to travel, read, decorate and follow the PGA tour with her fun-loving husband of over 30 years.

Favorite Vacation Spot: Islands, because she remembers the freedom of her childhood on Put-in-Bay, fondly. She’s visited many other amazing islands through the years, around the world, but none have a place in her heart like Put-in-Bay. She would like to retire to an island someday, where she can walk or ride her bicycle everywhere.
